Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Harald Lange started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Frederik Lemmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Neijsen in the 9th minute of play. Ysselsteyn FC's Frederik Lemmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Hulshof in the 10th minute of play. Oliver Hindriks was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Ysselsteyn FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ysselsteyn FC's Oliver Hindriks got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Hulshof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Lemmen having to interfere. Ronald Spanjer kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Bram Ritsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Oliver Hindriks in the 28th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Wilfried Koerts kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When Harald Lange came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Heijningen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Lange couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the game, Heijningen's Harald Lange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederik Lemmen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliver Hindriks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfried Koerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Hindriks, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Frederik Lemmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Lange in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Heijningen's zone, Oliver Hindriks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfried Koerts came out of the goal and Oliver Hindriks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Roel Hertog fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ysselsteyn FC's protests and gave Roel Hertog a yellow card for diving instead. Roel Hertog hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Heijningen getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Berend Robben hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Bram Ritsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfried Koerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harald Lange blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederik Lemmen having to make a save. Harald Lange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Frederik Lemmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ysselsteyn FC's Frederik Lemmen got control of the ball when Benjamin Hulshof tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ysselsteyn FC's goalkeeper Frederik Lemmen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjamin Hulshof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Frederik Lemmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederik Lemmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roel Hertog hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bram Ritsma struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Wilfried Koerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ysselsteyn FC. Bram Ritsma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bram Ritsma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfried Koerts having to make a save.
