Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mark Rieks kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Cees Maurits in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sander Bulder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sander Bulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin van der Schans, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Edwin van der Schans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald de Coninck hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Edwin van der Schans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Meerzicht's zone, Hans-Cees Maurits stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sander Bulder came out of the goal and Hans-Cees Maurits tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meerzicht's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gooitzen Schreuder in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Gooitzen Schreuder almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Armwei SV's Geale Westra did a great save. When Ronald de Coninck fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meerzicht's protests and gave Ronald de Coninck a yellow card for diving instead. Ronald de Coninck kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Armwei SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Zegers to maneuver through the defense. Jan Dussel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Geale Westra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Meerzicht's Jan Dussel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geale Westra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mark Rieks came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Meerzicht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Rieks couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, Meerzicht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erben Oosterman to maneuver through the defense. If Hans-Cees Maurits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Sander Bulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Cees Maurits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edwin van der Schans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwin van der Schans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Sander Bulder made a huge save. Hans-Cees Maurits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sander Bulder having to interfere. Jan Dussel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin van der Schans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sander Bulder having to make a save. Jan Dussel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geale Westra having to interfere. Hans-Cees Maurits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armwei SV's Geale Westra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Dussel in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Meerzicht's goalkeeper Sander Bulder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin van der Schans. Meerzicht's Ronald de Coninck got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Ronald de Coninck off the ground. Ronald de Coninck hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Meerzicht succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Armwei SV had controlled the match.
