Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dennis van Heiningen got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Holtinge's Theo Steffens got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Jan-Peter Popping fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mossel's protests and gave Jan-Peter Popping a yellow card for diving instead. If Jan-Peter Popping had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Mossel's Jan-Peter Popping sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hette Mook narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Holtinge getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Theo Steffens hit a great ball. Jan-Peter Popping received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mossel's Pieter Post proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Mossel from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mossel getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eric Kosterman hit a great ball. Jordy Abbenbroek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter Post having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mossel's zone, Teo Buckinx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pieter Post came out of the goal and Teo Buckinx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pieter Post made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jordy Abbenbroek sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Holtinge's Theo Steffens got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Mossel were awarded a corner. Gerard van de Meerakker went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mossel's Gert Jan Stuifzand to fire away a dangerous shot which Hette Mook despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Buckinx to strike the kick off in the second half. Teo Buckinx took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pieter Post. Pieter Post dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jan-Peter Popping sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Holtinge's Herman Wijngaart got a free kick in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Mossel's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Buckinx came free, but Pieter Post reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Mossel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristof Maes to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th match minute, Holtinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Roetering to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Peter Popping sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holtinge's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
