Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gooitzen Zalm took the kick off in the first half of the match. Danny Ieberink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danny Ieberink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Senden having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Castenray got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Aelbrecht. Henk Coopman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bram Senden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arjen Melker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Mulder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Danny Ieberink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Henk Coopman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Twan Waldijk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castenray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oosterijk SC the free kick. After 30 played minutes Castenray got a freekick which was hit by Ed Tonnis. Martien Maasland, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Castenray's Bram Senden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Coopman in the 32nd minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, one of Castenray:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bram Senden, was totally fooled by Oosterijk SC's Martien Maasland, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Marco Mulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gooitzen Zalm, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Oosterijk SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castenray were winning 1-2.

Castenray's Bram Senden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Coopman in the 51st minute of play. Danny Ieberink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dirk van Olst kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Henk Coopman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bram Senden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gooitzen Zalm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Oosterijk SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Castenray:s goal. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Castenray's Olof Smid got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marco Mulder. Bram Senden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Coopman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Castenray's Bram Senden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Coopman in the 84th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Castenray eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
