Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Erik Bunt made the kick off which started today's match. When Peter Schutrups fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egchelheide FC's protests and gave Peter Schutrups a yellow card for diving instead. Peter Schutrups kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brain de Winter in the 4th minute of play forced Egchelheide FC's goalkeeper Martijn Huiting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joop Ridder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Martijn Huiting made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Egchelheide FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joop Ridder fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Egchelheide FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tonnie Spierenburg hit a great ball. Benjamin Ieberink came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Egchelheide FC's Erik Bunt. But to his dismay, Erik Bunt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benjamin Ieberink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Bunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Egchelheide FC's Tonnie Spierenburg got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Joop Ridder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martijn Huiting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brain de Winter, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Brain de Winter took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Martijn Huiting to make any attempt to save it. Joop Alkema hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Erik Bunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Ieberink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederik Willemse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Benjamin Ieberink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Kuypers during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Heierhoeve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Kuypers to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Hans-Cees van der Vaart's late challenge caught a Heierhoeve's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans-Cees van der Vaart helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Heierhoeve booed when Egchelheide FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Cees van der Vaart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Ieberink made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Frederik Willemse sent off a good shot on target. Hans Otten kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Martijn Huiting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brain de Winter, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Brain de Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel van den Bergh fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heierhoeve's protests and gave Daniel van den Bergh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute Brain de Winter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martijn Huiting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joop Ridder scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martijn Huiting, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 96 played minutes Heierhoeve got a freekick which was hit by Joop Alkema. For all the effort they put into the match, the Egchelheide FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Heierhoeve.
