Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd match minute, Nijezijl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Schoenmakers to maneuver through the defense. Remco Daverveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Nijezijl's Jurgen van der Schans got control of the ball when Remco Daverveld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karel Grasmaaijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roeland Ranzijn having to interfere. Kelvin Roeters hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Nijezijl's Ron Spoel tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Nijezijl's Koen Oorschot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roeland Ranzijn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nijezijl's Joeri Deuring pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remco Staal during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pasop FC's Remco Staal got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Kelvin Scholte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remco Daverveld's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Jurgen van der Schans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kelvin Roeters hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Lubbers during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Nijezijl got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Lubbers. 35 minutes into the match, Pasop FC's Gido Iepstra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kelvin Scholte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jurgen van der Schans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Kelvin Scholte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasop FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kelvin Scholte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurgen van der Schans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Scholte in the 48th minute of play forced Nijezijl's goalkeeper Jurgen van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Nijezijl's Koen Oorschot got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jurgen van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remco Daverveld, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jurgen van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelvin Scholte in the 61st minute of play. Lucas Lubbers got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After having played for 66 minutes, Kelvin Scholte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pasop FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelvin Scholte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fabiën Appel fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nijezijl's protests and gave Fabiën Appel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nijezijl getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fabiën Appel hit a great ball. Nijezijl's Koen Oorschot got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remco Staal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurgen van der Schans having to interfere. Nijezijl's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
