Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Klaas Klap made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk Rodenberg got free with Sjoerd Zuidema in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Aperloo booed when Lieseind RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Klinkhamer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henk Rodenberg scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sjoerd Zuidema, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marick Janssens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Klaas Klap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aperloo's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaas Klap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Zaagman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico-Jan van der Struijk in the 22nd minute of play forced Lieseind RKSV's goalkeeper Leon Zaagman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klaas Klap in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Zaagman saved Lieseind RKSV from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Lieseind RKSV got a freekick which was hit by Bart Meurs. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bart Meurs during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Bart Meurs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aperloo's Sjoerd Zuidema proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Aperloo from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Ronny Langenbach sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lieseind RKSV's Leon Zaagman didn't even have to move. Henk Rodenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Sjoerd Zuidema made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Lieseind RKSV's zone, Nico-Jan van der Struijk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Zaagman came out of the goal and Nico-Jan van der Struijk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marick Janssens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Klaas Klap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Zaagman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Aperloo got a freekick which was hit by David Bont. Sjoerd Zuidema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marick Janssens, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rudolf Ruben charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudolf Ruben the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aperloo! Henk Rodenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjoerd Zuidema having to interfere. Lieseind RKSV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
