Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Luc Hoogendorp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valkenheide HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luc Hoogendorp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinant Zoolingen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Karel Lokin came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Valkenheide HC fans jumped to their feet. Theo Rutgers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gerrie Harding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theo Rutgers to make the kick off. Theo Rutgers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 71 minutes into the match, Heloren SC's Aad Schophuis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Valkenheide HC booed when Heloren SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Lubbers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Theo Rutgers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrie Harding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
