In the 13th minute, Max Strobos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kees Ieberts, passed just outside the right post. In the 33rd minute, Roel Ijspol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kees Ieberts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjaak Roordink in the 36th minute of play. Mickael Wilbrink kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Christijan Bleiswijk came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by IJzendijke's Barry Keupink. But to his dismay, Barry Keupink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Albert den Engelsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christijan Bleiswijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Keupink in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sjaak Roordink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Max Ronde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barry Keupink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Snellestein's goalkeeper Christijan Bleiswijk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71stth minute of the game Sjaak Roordink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IJzendijke's Kees Ieberts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sjaak Roordink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mickael Wilbrink charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mickael Wilbrink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mickael Wilbrink hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the IJzendijke defense, Sjaak Roordink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kees Ieberts. The IJzendijke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kees Ieberts should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Sjaak Roordink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kees Ieberts. IJzendijke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sjaak Roordink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Snellestein's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
