Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Laaxum's Hette Krommert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Philip Spierenburg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Hette Krommert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirko van Gessel struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Lex Meijering didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laaxum. Lex Meijering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hette Krommert in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Alwin Koerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Wielaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Matthijs de Ridder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laaxum's Elbert Wielaert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th match minute, Laaxum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Ensing to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Laaxum's goal looked a bit too open when Matthijs de Ridder came free, but Elbert Wielaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lex Meijering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hette Krommert in the 18th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Lucas Kuypers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Dauwendaele FC's zone, Hette Krommert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lex Meijering came out of the goal and Hette Krommert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hette Krommert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lex Meijering came out and tried to block the shot, but Hette Krommert slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Alwin Koerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Matthijs de Ridder came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Dauwendaele FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthijs de Ridder couldn't finish the play. In the 50th play minute Oliver Jonkman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lex Meijering. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alwin Koerts was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Matthijs de Ridder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elbert Wielaert. Laaxum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthijs de Ridder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Matthijs de Ridder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Elbert Wielaert made a huge save. Matthijs de Ridder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alwin Koerts in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elbert Wielaert saved Laaxum from getting behind. Bastiaan Ranzijn kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Dauwendaele FC's Alwin Koerts in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laaxum's goalie prevented a goal. Elbert Wielaert made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Matthijs de Ridder sent off a good shot on target. Alwin Koerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Dauwendaele FC's Alwin Koerts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elbert Wielaert. Elbert Wielaert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of Dauwendaele FC booed when Laaxum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Ensing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthijs de Ridder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Elbert Wielaert made a huge save. Laaxum's Hette Krommert got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 100th minute, Gerwin Snoeks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
