Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hans Berends kicked off to start the match. Ramon Bult came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Wee V.V.'s Gijsbert Polak. But to his dismay, Gijsbert Polak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Papenhoven FC's Rudolf Looze got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Wee V.V. got a corner. Papenhoven FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Youri Weken ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Hans Berends heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Edgar Nijemanting took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramon Bult. Papenhoven FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Han Mik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Spiljard's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Wee V.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joop Hebert to maneuver through the defense. Wim Waterman kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Hans Berends struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ramon Bult didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wee V.V.. Danny Berends received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Han Mik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Han Mik didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Papenhoven FC's Stephan Spiljard shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Wee V.V. booed when Papenhoven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Spiljard didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Papenhoven FC's Ramon Bult got control of the ball when Gijsbert Polak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Stephan Spiljard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Han Mik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Spiljard in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Hans Berends fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Bult having to interfere. When Wee V.V.'s Hans Berends in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papenhoven FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hans Berends fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Bult having to interfere. Stephan Spiljard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Han Mik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gijsbert Polak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Berends took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Bult. Ramon Bult dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gijsbert Polak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Zeldenrust fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Bult having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Papenhoven FC's zone, Gijsbert Polak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Bult came out of the goal and Gijsbert Polak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wee V.V.'s Gijsbert Polak got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Han Mik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephan Spiljard in the 79th minute. Stephan Spiljard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Han Mik having to interfere. Han Mik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Berends in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stephan Spiljard got free with Han Mik in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Wee V.V.'s zone, Stephan Spiljard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Han Mik came out of the goal and Stephan Spiljard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, Papenhoven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Trenning to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th match minute, Wee V.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Youri Weken to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Wim Waterman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papenhoven FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Waterman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Danny Berends could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-2 into the left cross. With his leg Han Mik managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Papenhoven FC's Stephan Spiljard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
