Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ab Mos started the match with the kick off. Mark Themmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ab Mos in the 8th minute of the match. When Rien Colen came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Oler RKSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rien Colen couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Fabiën Aelbrecht's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurens van der Werff was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, Jan-Willem Kosterman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiën Aelbrecht struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Laurens van der Werff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strien. Rien Colen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mark Themmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Themmen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rien Colen in the 27th minute. Rien Colens short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Mark Themmen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Rien Colen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiën Aelbrecht stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oler RKSV's Laurens van der Werff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiën Aelbrecht in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, one of Oler RKSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 62nd minute, Gregor Cales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rien Colen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. In the 85th minute, Strien's Fabiën Aelbrecht dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Oler RKSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Fabiën Aelbrecht scored to the left of an out of position Laurens van der Werff, making the score, 1-3. The Strien supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Strien would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
