Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jack Terpstra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Strien's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Terpstra came free, but Mark Themmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Strien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirko Tulner to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Paul Haan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Themmen having to interfere. In the 11th minute Fabiën Aelbrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogier de Jong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Mirko Tulner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strien's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirko Tulner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogier de Jong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudolf Zorge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mark Klaassen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiën Aelbrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom Roelofs hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Strien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiën Aelbrecht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiën Aelbrecht blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogier de Jong having to make a save. Rogier de Jong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Klaassen went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tom Roelofs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Terpstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Jack Terpstra notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Strien's Mark Themmen. Mark Themmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiën Aelbrecht stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogier de Jong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiën Aelbrecht in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Klaassen in the 53rd minute of play forced Bijvanck VV's goalkeeper Rogier de Jong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, Bijvanck VV's Dolf Borg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mark Themmen. After a rather tough play, Bijvanck VV's Jean-Paul Haan got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Jack Terpstra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strien's Mark Themmen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabiën Aelbrecht blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogier de Jong having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Jean-Paul Haan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fabiën Aelbrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogier de Jong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiën Aelbrecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bijvanck VV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bijvanck VV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
