Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Olaf Wesseling made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Wesseling in the 3rd minute of play forced Kraanven's goalkeeper Frits Pluym to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Kraanven's Fokke Blikman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gido van As. Gido van As yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Huib Windmuller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gido van As having to interfere. Gido van As made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fokke Blikman in the 12th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Brakkenstein FC got a freekick which was hit by Pieter Plenter. The supporters of Brakkenstein FC booed when Kraanven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjoerd Krol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kraanven's Frits Pluym played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacques Hosson in the 23rd minute of play. Simon Buskermolen charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Buskermolen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simon Buskermolen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Huib Windmuller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Huib Windmuller fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gido van As, passed just outside the right post. In the 31st minute, Jef Sándor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frits Pluym came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brakkenstein FC's Ferdinant Trip. But to his dismay, Ferdinant Trip quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 37th minute, Jhon Timmermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brakkenstein FC's Jacques Hosson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kraanven. Frits Pluym showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Wesseling in the 44th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Jef Sándor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kraanven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brakkenstein FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kraanven's Jef Sándor got a free kick in the 45th minute. Olaf Wesseling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frits Pluym read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Brakkenstein FC's Olaf Wesseling made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frits Pluym was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Frits Pluym took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Wesseling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes of play, Kraanven's Fokke Blikman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gido van As was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gido van As made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fokke Blikman in the 61st minute of play. Brakkenstein FC's Gido van As played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fokke Blikman in the 63rd minute of play. Gert Pronk charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Pronk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Brakkenstein FC got a freekick which was hit by Gert Pronk. In the 64th minute of the match Willem Woering shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gido van As showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Simon Buskermolen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willem Woering, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Frits Pluym acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gert Pronk. If Fokke Blikman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinant Trip blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frits Pluym having to make a save. When Ferdinant Trip came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Brakkenstein FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinant Trip couldn't finish the play. Huib Windmuller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gido van As tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ferdinant Trip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brakkenstein FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinant Trip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits Pluym breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Robin de Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
