Frits Pluym made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiaan Evans in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Huib Windmuller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kraanven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Fokke Blikman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kraanven's supporters rose to their feet, but Fokke Blikman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arjen Egberts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Christiaan Evans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frits Pluym. Kraanven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christiaan Evans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jhon Timmermans charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jhon Timmermans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Kraanven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jhon Timmermans to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Kraanven's goal looked a bit too open when Christiaan Evans came free, but Frits Pluym reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 49th minute, Kraanven's Fokke Blikman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arjen Egberts. Arjen Egberts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.
The wind increased when Christiaan Evans made the kick off in the second half. Fokke Blikman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Huib Windmuller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kraanven's supporters rose to their feet, but Huib Windmuller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 67 minutes, Robin de Lange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kraanven and the Plaatsluis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kraanven's Robin de Lange got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Plaatsluis's Christiaan Evans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frits Pluym narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frits Pluym took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiaan Evans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiaan Evans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Zeegelaar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Plaatsluis's Patrick Zeegelaar got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. When the referee ended the match the Kraanven players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
