Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Haerst FC's Jan Hendrik Elshot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Hendrik Harding left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scheepstal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Scheepstal's goalkeeper Folker Deuring had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Blank. Henry Folkers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik Harding, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Joop Koops's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Folkers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Jan Blank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folker Deuring having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Haerst FC's Jan Hendrik Elshot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Folker Deuring. Folker Deuring yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 24 minutes into the game, Koen Melis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scheepstal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haerst FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Scheepstal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koen Melis to maneuver through the defense. Folker Deuring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Hendrik Elshot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Heida kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Ivo Heida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scheepstal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haerst FC the free kick. A collision led to Scheepstal getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ivo Heida hit a great ball. When Jan Hendrik Elshot came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Haerst FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Hendrik Elshot couldn't finish the play. Jan Blank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joop Koops had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jan Blank came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Haerst FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Blank couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Joop Koops made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Scheepstal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Haerst FC:s goal. When Rudolf Dam fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haerst FC's protests and gave Rudolf Dam a yellow card for diving instead. Henry Folkers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop Koops, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Hendrik Elshot in the 62nd minute of play forced Scheepstal's goalkeeper Folker Deuring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Hendrik Harding cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Henry Folkers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th match minute, Haerst FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Bult to maneuver through the defense. Henry Folkers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Koops in the 76th minute of play. Henry Folkers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop Koops in the 78th minute of the match. If Jan Hendrik Elshot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Blank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Folker Deuring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Scheepstal got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Kok. Hendrik Harding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Folkers having to interfere. Joop Koops sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Haerst FC's zone, Hendrik Harding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Folkers came out of the goal and Hendrik Harding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Folkers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joop Koops in the 95th minute. Haerst FC's Jan Blank got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
