The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elco Kostermans during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Edward Lyesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edward Lyesen struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tjeerd Zoolingen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biessum VV. Arnout Helwig kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Breklenkamp's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Duinhoven came free, but Tjeerd Zoolingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Breklenkamp's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Lyesen came free, but Tjeerd Zoolingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tjeerd Zoolingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Duinhoven, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dries Oortwijn kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Breklenkamp's zone, Alexander Duinhoven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tjeerd Zoolingen came out of the goal and Alexander Duinhoven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Toni Spoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnout Helwig in the 52nd minute of play. Maurits de Jong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Michael Bodde in the 57th minute really tested Tjeerd Zoolingen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 59th minute, Kristof Mans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Spoel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Maurits de Jong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toni Spoel having to make a save. Kristof Mans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toni Spoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Mans in the 66th minute of play. Roel Aerts kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Breklenkamp's goalkeeper Tjeerd Zoolingen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristof Mans in the 73rd minute of play forced Biessum VV's goalkeeper Toni Spoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tjeerd Zoolingen came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Biessum VV's Alexander Duinhoven. But to his dismay, Alexander Duinhoven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alexander Duinhoven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biessum VV's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Duinhoven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tjeerd Zoolingen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Lyesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Edward Lyesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjeerd Zoolingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biessum VV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
