Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herbert Kramer kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Driesprong HC's goalkeeper Hans Kolkman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Michel Walstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Kolkman having to interfere. Martien Stegeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Kolkman having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Walstra in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Kolkman saved Driesprong HC from getting behind. After having played for 15 minutes, Michel Walstra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veeningen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Walstra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Driesprong HC's zone, Martien Stegeman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Kolkman came out of the goal and Martien Stegeman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hub Houwing got free with Jordy van den Hoogen in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24th play minutes Michel Walstra shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Hans Kolkman and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Driesprong HC defense, Martien Stegeman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Kolkman. The Driesprong HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Kolkman should have stopped the shot. Hans Kolkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Walstra in the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martien Stegeman to strike the kick off in the second half. Martien Stegeman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Teun van Zalen fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veeningen's protests and gave Teun van Zalen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Veeningen's Teun van Zalen got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hub Houwing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hub Houwing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordy van den Hoogen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Kramer in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Teun van Zalen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijs Lurling hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 89th minute, when Veeningen's Teun van Zalen after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Hans Kolkman in Driesprong HC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. If Martien Stegeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hans Kolkman made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Michel Walstra sent off a good shot on target. The Driesprong HC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Veeningen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
