Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Auke Vorenkamp made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Annaparochie! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk van Diemen in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thijs Bosstraeten saved Annaparochie from getting behind. In the 11th minute Auke Vorenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Bosstraeten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Auke Vorenkamp in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thijs Bosstraeten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Auke Vorenkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoogerheide fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Marcus Timmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mathias Harding was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hoogerheide were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Annaparochie's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sjors de Kort took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bram Hulshof got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thijs Bosstraeten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With 29 minutes on the clock, Ferry van Driest commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ferry van Driest hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Roland Drenth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathias Harding skillfully saved the ball. Jordi Timmerman charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordi Timmerman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jordi Timmerman kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Annaparochie's Nico-Jan Huisingh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. A collision led to Hoogerheide getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Auke Vorenkamp hit a great ball. Marcus Timmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Harding having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mathias Harding stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Timmer's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Henk van Diemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Timmer in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Harding prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Annaparochie's zone, Henk van Diemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thijs Bosstraeten came out of the goal and Henk van Diemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Annaparochie getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Roland Drenth hit a great ball. Henk van Diemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Annaparochie's goalkeeper Thijs Bosstraeten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henk van Diemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emile Das got free with Thijs Bosstraeten in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thijs Bosstraeten made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Henk van Diemen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hoogerheide booed when Annaparochie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Lyesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henk van Diemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Thijs Bosstraeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 97 in the game by Henk van Diemen from a close distance when the talented Thijs Bosstraeten managed to make a qualified save. Annaparochie's players were relieved. Hoogerheide played a much better game than Annaparochie and deserved their victory. The Annaparochie players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
