In the 34th match minute, Annaparochie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Klein to maneuver through the defense. Thijs Bosstraeten made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Hub Houwing sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Annaparochie's goalkeeper Thijs Bosstraeten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hub Houwing. Thijs Bosstraeten was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Herbert Kramer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herbert Kramer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico-Jan Huisingh to make the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Driesprong HC's goalkeeper Hans Kolkman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jasper Alberda's late challenge caught a Annaparochie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jasper Alberda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Driesprong HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Alberda to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Timmer didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 57th minute. Annaparochie's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 62 minutes into the game, Marcus Timmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Hans Kolkman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute Herbert Kramer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Bosstraeten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Kolkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico-Jan Huisingh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hub Houwing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thijs Bosstraeten having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Driesprong HC's zone, Marcus Timmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Kolkman came out of the goal and Marcus Timmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barry Geitz during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Driesprong HC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Barry Geitz hit a great ball. Annaparochie's Roland Drenth couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Driesprong HC. If Marcus Timmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97thth minute of the game Nico-Jan Huisingh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Driesprong HC's Hans Kolkman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Annaparochie had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
