Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rein Veldkamp made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rein Veldkamp in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogier van den Bergh saved Geleen from getting behind. Rein Veldkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thijs Lammens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogier van den Bergh having to interfere. Rogier van den Bergh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Veldkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Rogier van den Bergh came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Agelo's Rein Veldkamp. But to his dismay, Rein Veldkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gerrit Degenkamp struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Humberto Kuys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geleen. Agelo's Humberto Kuys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny van den Berg in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Agelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickael Schenning to maneuver through the defense. Ronny van den Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny van den Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Humberto Kuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geleen's Rogier van den Bergh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thijs Lammens in the 43rd minute of play. Thijs Lammens struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Rogier van den Bergh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agelo. After the first half Agelo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny van den Berg in the 57th minute of play forced Agelo's goalkeeper Humberto Kuys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Geleen getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gerrit Degenkamp hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Rein Veldkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rein Veldkamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rein Veldkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Thijs Lammens came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Agelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thijs Lammens couldn't finish the play. Gerrit Degenkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny van den Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Kuys having to interfere. Mickael Schenning hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thijs Lammens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogier van den Bergh having to interfere. Gerrit Degenkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Humberto Kuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Taco Tamminga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agelo and the Geleen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Taco Tamminga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny van den Berg took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Kuys. Humberto Kuys dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Agelo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
