Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucien Bakhuis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cobus Haan took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronald Meijeringh. Ronald Meijeringh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 6 minutes, Gerard Uebels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Volendam FC and the Baken Eendracht players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Volendam FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gerard Uebels hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Baken Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Bakhuis came free, but Ronald Meijeringh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cobus Haan in the 17th minute of play forced Baken Eendracht's goalkeeper Ronald Meijeringh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Baken Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Bakhuis came free, but Ronald Meijeringh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cees Bakhuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Beukenkamp in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Volendam FC's Lucien Bakhuis got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Baken Eendracht booed when Volendam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Rein Gerfen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Beukenkamp in the 43rd minute of play forced Volendam FC's goalkeeper Cees Bakhuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucien Bakhuis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronald Meijeringh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Beukenkamp to make the kick off. Volendam FC's Cees Bakhuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Beukenkamp in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Lucien Bakhuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Meijeringh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Volendam FC's Lucien Bakhuis in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baken Eendracht's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Volendam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Beukenkamp came free, but Cees Bakhuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Andreas Beukenkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baken Eendracht's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Beukenkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cees Bakhuis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cees Bakhuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Beukenkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karsten Alferink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Andreas Beukenkamp came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Baken Eendracht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Beukenkamp couldn't finish the play. Karsten Alferink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cees Bakhuis having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cobus Haan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volendam FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cobus Haan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Meijeringh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
