Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nico-Jan ter Averst took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Arno van Zeist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passerot RKSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arno van Zeist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gio Alberda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Sturm having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Moordhuizen's Nico-Jan ter Averst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans Zijlstra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gio Alberda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Sturm having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Moordhuizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Fens to maneuver through the defense. If Gio Alberda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommie Fens during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moordhuizen's Tommie Fens got a free kick in the 29th minute. Peter Paauwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eddy Sturm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peter Paauwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Zijlstra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico-Jan ter Averst in the 38th minute of play. Gio Alberda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Sturm having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennie Ellerman in the 47th minute of play forced Passerot RKSV's goalkeeper Hans Zijlstra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gio Alberda was the one to do the kick off. If Peter Paauwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Gio Alberda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Sturm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peter Paauwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Moordhuizen's Bennie Ellerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans Zijlstra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans Zijlstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico-Jan ter Averst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennie Ellerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Passerot RKSV booed when Moordhuizen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennie Ellerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gio Alberda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Peter Paauwe came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Passerot RKSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Paauwe couldn't finish the play. Hans Zijlstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico-Jan ter Averst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennie Ellerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Zijlstra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Nico-Jan ter Averst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hans Zijlstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bennie Ellerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mitchell de Jong charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mitchell de Jong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mitchell de Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Passerot RKSV's Jaap de Vos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
