Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Klaas Degeling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Han Kroon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Kevin Beuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houtsestraat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Beuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tonnie Meertens kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Berend Coopman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rien Blanker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Berend Coopman came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Houtsestraat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berend Coopman couldn't finish the play. Roeland Oosterman hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Rien Blanker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berend Coopman in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Houtsestraat's Patrick Legdeur got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Houtsestraat's Berend Coopman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rien Blanker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kevin Beuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rien Blanker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Han Kroon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Degeling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rien Blanker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berend Coopman's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Rien Blanker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berend Coopman in the 40th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berend Coopman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Houtsestraat's Patrick Legdeur got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Klaas Degeling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Houtsestraat's Han Kroon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevin Beuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Berend Coopman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaas Degeling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Han Kroon having to make a save. Klaas Degeling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Han Kroon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Beuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Houtsestraat's zone, Eelco Talsma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Han Kroon came out of the goal and Eelco Talsma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Houtsestraat were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
