Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ferdinant Nagel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinant Nagel in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donny Soer saved Bruil from getting behind. In the 5th minute Reinier ter Averst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donny Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Folker Cornelisse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Reinier ter Averst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ferdinant Nagel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Hette Muskee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hette Muskee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Giersbergen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bruil:s goal. Giersbergen's Nathan Savenije proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Giersbergen from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Folker Cornelisse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Folker Cornelisse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Bruil got a freekick which was hit by Jelle de Ruijter. After a defensive mix-up in Bruil's zone, Ferdinant Nagel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donny Soer came out of the goal and Ferdinant Nagel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Ferdinant Nagel made the kick off in the second half. Hette Muskee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nathan Savenije tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinant Nagel in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donny Soer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reinier ter Averst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Soer having to interfere. If Folker Cornelisse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Folker Cornelisse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nathan Savenije tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Giersbergen's Ben Eggens got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes, Bruil's Otto Oosterman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nathan Savenije came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bruil reached it. In the 84thth minute of the game Folker Cornelisse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giersbergen's Nathan Savenije was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hette Muskee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Carel van der Saar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruil and the Giersbergen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute of the match, Reinier ter Averst got a very nice opportunity to score, but Donny Soer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bruil fully deserved thier win.
