The Zwiggelte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo de Boer should have stopped the shot. Teo de Boer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Breinburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zwiggelte FC's goalkeeper Teo de Boer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mark Kristoffers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo Joppets having to make a save. Teo de Boer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Breinburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sjoerd Baars charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sjoerd Baars the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Rijt Eendracht got a freekick which was hit by Sjoerd Baars. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Kristoffers was the one to do the kick off. In the 94th minute, Jurgen Iepmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rijt Eendracht walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
