When Arjen Ewald fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eng's protests and gave Arjen Ewald a yellow card for diving instead. Arjen Ewald kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Baarloseweg FC got a freekick which was hit by Nico-Jan Hegeman. Baarloseweg FC's Maurice Deijnen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Vroom in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Arjen Ewald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Deijnen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Veldman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Teuws read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Edward Veldman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Emil Teuws tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Veldman in the 31st minute of play forced Eng's goalkeeper Emil Teuws to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Kikkert hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Gregor Janssen charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregor Janssen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Baarloseweg FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregor Janssen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen Ewald in the 43rd minute of play forced Baarloseweg FC's goalkeeper Maurice Deijnen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arjen Ewald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Deijnen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arjen Ewald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Veldman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eddy Kuypers kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Baarloseweg FC's Arne Wijkstra tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Gregor Janssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudi Vroom in the 63rd minute of play forced Baarloseweg FC's goalkeeper Maurice Deijnen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes, Bjorn Alferink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baarloseweg FC and the Eng players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Baarloseweg FC got a freekick which was hit by Bjorn Alferink. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baarloseweg FC's goalkeeper Maurice Deijnen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Baarloseweg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi Vroom came free, but Maurice Deijnen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Veldman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Teuws having to interfere. If Frank Oosterbaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Baarloseweg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi Vroom came free, but Maurice Deijnen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arjen Ewald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurice Deijnen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Vroom in the 92nd minute of play. Emil Teuws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Veldman in the 97th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
