Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gerard Roelofs made the kick off and thus started the match. Franck Som showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Meder, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Spoorwijk RKSV's Richard Meder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franck Som made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Richard Meder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spoorwijk RKSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Meder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franck Som breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Richard Meder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franck Som saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wessel Grommers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Roelofs in the 14th minute of play. With his leg Wessel Grommers managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Ooste FC's Jeffrey Rodenberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maurits Zwaanswijk kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Gerard Roelofs came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ooste FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard Roelofs couldn't finish the play. Alfred Egberts kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Elco Tamminga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sjef Carel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Wessel Grommers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeffrey Rodenberg got free with Wessel Grommers in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spoorwijk RKSV's Wessel Grommers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Roelofs in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Klaas Dekens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeffrey Rodenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wessel Grommers having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gerard Roelofs took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Wessel Grommers to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Spoorwijk RKSV booed when Ooste FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjef Carel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klaas Dekens to strike the kick off in the second half. Jasper Oost hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Klaas Dekens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franck Som. Klaas Dekens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jeffrey Rodenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Wessel Grommers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klaas Dekens in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franck Som prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Richard Meder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wessel Grommers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerard Roelofs's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. If Gerard Roelofs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
