In the 6thth minute of the game Kurt Waesbergen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terlet HC's Taco Eising was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hans-Cees van Gaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo de Rudder having to interfere. Stef de Zwaan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Dirk-Jan Scheerhoorn came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Terlet HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk-Jan Scheerhoorn couldn't finish the play. Hans-Cees van Gaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Terlet HC's Hans-Cees van Gaal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Terlet HC's Taco Eising played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonnie Sparnaaij in the 28th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Hans-Cees van Gaal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hegge S.C.'s Theo de Rudder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rob Prinsen's late challenge caught a Terlet HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rob Prinsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Hegge S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob Prinsen to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Terlet HC's Bert Ros tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ernest Seinstra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Hegge S.C.'s Kurt Waesbergen got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans-Cees van Gaal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theo de Rudder having to make a save. Taco Eising showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonnie Sparnaaij in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Terlet HC's Taco Eising proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Terlet HC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Hegge S.C.'s Tonnie Sparnaaij got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Dirk-Jan Scheerhoorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Waesbergen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theo de Rudder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk-Jan Scheerhoorn in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Terlet HC booed when Hegge S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Prinsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franck Mans hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Terlet HC got a freekick which was hit by Carlo de Zee. If Kurt Waesbergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tonnie Sparnaaij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
