Gerrie Smeekes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Taco Eising made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Dirk-Jan Scheerhoorn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terlet HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match, Theo Vos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Taco Eising saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hans-Cees van Gaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taco Eising made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Vos in the 31st minute of play. Theo Vos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Roland Wolf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terlet HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kraaijenberg Eendracht the free kick. Roland Wolf kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Theo Vos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Ruben came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Terlet HC's Hans-Cees van Gaal. But to his dismay, Hans-Cees van Gaal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hans-Cees van Gaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Ruben having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 58th minute Theo Vos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Eising saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Theo Vos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerrie Smeekes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terlet HC's Taco Eising played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrie Smeekes in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, one of Kraaijenberg Eendracht:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kraaijenberg Eendracht. Kraaijenberg Eendracht:s Marco Ruben showed great skill when he stopped Bert Ros:s penalty. Marco Ruben didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bert Ros went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Gerrie Smeekes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Taco Eising tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hans-Cees van Gaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, one of Kraaijenberg Eendracht:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marco Ruben made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk-Jan Scheerhoorn in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute, Terlet HC's Hans-Cees van Gaal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Ruben. Marco Ruben yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Gerrie Smeekes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 103rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taco Eising having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Terlet HC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
