Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd match minute, Hennaard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonny Wikenburg to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Maarten Klijnstra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maarten Klijnstra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Derk Damen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Roy Groten might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karel van Bronckhorst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roy Groten ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Hennaard getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Koos Jurjens hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hennaard's zone, Roy Groten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karel van Bronckhorst came out of the goal and Roy Groten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maarten Klijnstra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Derk Damen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten Klijnstra in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nieuwerhoek RKSV's Jan Dussel got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Lucas Kuijsten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Derk Damen skillfully saved the ball. Max Veldman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Derk Damen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Maarten Klijnstra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Nieuwerhoek RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Maarten Klijnstra came free, but Derk Damen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hennaard's Maarten Klijnstra in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nieuwerhoek RKSV's goalie prevented a goal. If Roy Groten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Veldman scored 1-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Derk Damen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Max Veldman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derk Damen having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Gregor Ginneken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Karel van Bronckhorst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Max Veldman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Hennaard got a freekick which was hit by Koos Jurjens. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
