Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zuiderwoude FC's Douwe Jacobs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Douwe Jacobs came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Zuiderwoude FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douwe Jacobs couldn't finish the play. Hennaard's Max Veldman got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Hendrik Heuving during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Jan Hendrik Heuving hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rien Zethof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten Klijnstra in the 21st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Rien Zethof successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maarten Klijnstra in the 27th minute of play forced Zuiderwoude FC's goalkeeper Rien Zethof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Douwe Jacobs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hennaard's Karel van Bronckhorst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Timo Zeegelaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eelco Wermans hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Max Veldman might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rien Zethof. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Veldman ran back to his position shaking his head. Rien Zethof didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Veldman went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Huub van Schaik kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maarten Klijnstra to strike the kick off in the second half. Timo Zeegelaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Karel van Bronckhorst made a huge save. Hennaard's Karel van Bronckhorst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Hennaard from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Zuiderwoude FC's goal looked a bit too open when Max Veldman came free, but Rien Zethof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maarten Klijnstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rien Zethof having to interfere. Rien Zethof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maarten Klijnstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Anthony Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Lucas Kuijsten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rien Zethof skillfully saved the ball. Patrick Tanis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karel van Bronckhorst. Hennaard's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Maarten Klijnstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo Zeegelaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Karel van Bronckhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rien Zethof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten Klijnstra in the 81st minute of the match. Zuiderwoude FC's Rien Zethof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Veldman in the 85th minute of play. Douwe Jacobs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel van Bronckhorst having to interfere. Karel van Bronckhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douwe Jacobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timo Zeegelaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Karel van Bronckhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hennaard were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zuiderwoude FC for a fine match.
