Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jan de Hondt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gido Theissen took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leendert de Winter. Leendert de Winter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jan de Hondt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leendert de Winter having to interfere. Rafael Bender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel Hofmeester in the 14th minute of play. Leendert de Winter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geert Arend Wander, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Gido Theissen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rinnegom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gido Theissen in the 27th minute of play forced Enspijk FC's goalkeeper Leendert de Winter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berry Meulenbergh might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Bender. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berry Meulenbergh ran back to his position shaking his head. Karel Hofmeester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berry Meulenbergh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Rafael Bender skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th minute of the match, Karel Hofmeester tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafael Bender saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 37 minutes into the match, Rinnegom's goal looked a bit too open when Karel Hofmeester came free, but Rafael Bender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Geert Arend Wander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rinnegom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enspijk FC the free kick. 41 minutes into the match, Enspijk FC's Jurre van der Tol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berry Meulenbergh to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Enspijk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gido Maas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gido Theissen got free with Leendert de Winter in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Enspijk FC's Gido Maas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Rafael Bender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karel Hofmeester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Jan de Hondt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinnegom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan de Hondt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Enspijk FC's Leendert de Winter got control of the ball when Gido Theissen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geert Schoonbeek hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Martien Dekens's late challenge caught a Enspijk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Berry Meulenbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gido Maas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gido Theissen got free with Leendert de Winter in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berry Meulenbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rafael Bender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan de Hondt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leendert de Winter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Jan de Hondt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leendert de Winter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan de Hondt in the 87th minute of the match. When Jan-Joost Middeljans came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Rinnegom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Joost Middeljans couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes, Jurre van der Tol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enspijk FC and the Rinnegom players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Enspijk FC! Jan de Hondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
