Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eelco Brandsma kicked off to start the match. Ate Oldenborger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando van Zijderveld went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Denny Hertog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Sluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Fernando van Zijderveld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ate Oldenborger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eelco Brandsma in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ate Oldenborger saved Zunderdorp FC from getting behind. Denny Hertog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Sluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Denny Hertog stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Sluis's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Ivo Sluis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henny de Nooijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Denny Hertog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henny de Nooijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Ivo Sluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny Hertog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Karnisse booed when Zunderdorp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jochem Been didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eelco Brandsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ate Oldenborger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eelco Brandsma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ate Oldenborger was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivo Sluis to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Karnisse's Eelco Brandsma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ate Oldenborger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Karnisse booed when Zunderdorp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Haydon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henny de Nooijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Denny Hertog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Sluis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Karnisse got a freekick which was hit by Karel van der Velden. After having played for 66 minutes, Eelco Brandsma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karnisse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eelco Brandsma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Eelco Brandsma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ate Oldenborger. Eelco Brandsma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Fernando van Zijderveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ivo Sluis came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Zunderdorp FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Sluis couldn't finish the play. Ate Oldenborger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando van Zijderveld in the 85th minute. Jochem Been kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Mike Haydon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Hertog having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Henny de Nooijer made a precise shot to the right of Denny Hertog. Karnisse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Karnisse eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
