Voorne's Rik Rooy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Witters in the 19th minute of play. Mario Witters struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Rik Rooy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biezenheuvel. Bert Theuws sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Witters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rik Rooy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorn Schildkamp made a kick off. Rik Rooy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Witters in the 53rd minute. Stefan Baan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Theuws in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Voorne's Rik Rooy got control of the ball when Mario Witters tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Han Huisman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biezenheuvel's Stefan Baan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thijs Sybering kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jorn Schildkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rik Rooy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mario Witters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
