Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ralf Gerseke kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd play minute Henk Reinhard came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Mulder. 1-0. Coenraad Borgman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coenraad Elshot's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Sassenheim's David Mulder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sassenheim from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Kenneth van der Velden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Sassenheim's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Gerseke came free, but David Mulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Zandfort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Sluis to maneuver through the defense. Leon Polak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Coenraad Borgman. Zandfort's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. David Mulder was a little too slow when Ralf Gerseke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Coenraad Elshot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Coenraad Borgman having to make a save. After some careless play in the Zandfort defense, Sjoerd Kauffeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Coenraad Borgman. The Zandfort fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Coenraad Borgman should have stopped the shot. Henk Reinhard was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 27 minutes, Henk Reinhard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zandfort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henk Reinhard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Sjoerd Kauffeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sassenheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Sjoerd Kauffeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coenraad Borgman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Coenraad Borgman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coenraad Elshot in the 33rd minute of play. Sjoerd Kauffeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zandfort's goalkeeper Coenraad Borgman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Coenraad Elshot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ralf Gerseke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mulder having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coenraad Elshot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Coenraad Elshot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henk Reinhard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. David Mulder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coenraad Borgman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sjoerd Kauffeld in the 64th minute. Coenraad Borgman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coenraad Elshot in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Leon Polak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Mulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Gerseke, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ralf Gerseke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Sander Sluis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Sparnaaij kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Casper Cramer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wessel Hilkes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Leon Polak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zandfort's Coenraad Borgman didn't even have to move.
