Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thomas Cruijff got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Hazennest got a freekick which was hit by Dennis van Zeijl. If Thomas Cruijff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Brinks kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Teuben. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 16th minute, one of Hazennest:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hazennest. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Weerseloo. Niek Pierewaaijer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jouke Oorthuis. 1-1. Wilfried Krijnenburg struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jouke Oorthuis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weerseloo. 23 minutes into the match, Thomas Cruijff notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hazennest's Jouke Oorthuis. Jouke Oorthuis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Hazennest's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Bakker came free, but Jouke Oorthuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Teuben didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Brinks went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 40 played minutes Hazennest got a freekick which was hit by Pim Borker. After having played for 41 minutes, Gert Bakker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weerseloo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Bakker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hazennest's Jouke Oorthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Bakker in the 43rd minute of play. Marco Teuben didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Verheije went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Weerseloo's zone, Andreas Brinks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Teuben came out of the goal and Andreas Brinks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Verheije fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Teuben having to interfere. Tomas Verheije sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 63 minutes, Thomas Cruijff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weerseloo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Cruijff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joeri Schirring charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joeri Schirring the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Joeri Schirring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hazennest's zone, Thomas Cruijff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jouke Oorthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Cruijff in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Hazennest booed when Weerseloo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dries Robben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Verheije struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Marco Teuben didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hazennest. Andreas Brinks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Teuben having to interfere. Tomas Verheije sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hazennest walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
