Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the last second Otto Thijsse throw himself and got hold of the ball when Richard Paas in the 2ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Maaijkant VV's Gerben Koerts got a free kick in the 5th minute. Maaijkant VV's Erwin Hofland got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommie Zuiverloon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gido Wesveld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Sluitersveld FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram Ottenhof to maneuver through the defense. Richard Paas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Otto Thijsse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Maaijkant VV's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Paas came free, but Otto Thijsse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Maaijkant VV's Jouke Geers seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jouke Geers the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Maaijkant VV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jouke Geers had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Otto Thijsse, was totally fooled by Sluitersveld FC's Ralf Bette, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Maaijkant VV's Tommie Zuiverloon got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otto Thijsse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Paas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Sluitersveld FC's Joeri Kleinman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Otto Thijsse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Paas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to Sluitersveld FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bram Ottenhof hit a great ball. Marnix Hofman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Richard Paas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freek Zwiers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gido Wesveld having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerben Koerts during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes Maaijkant VV got a freekick which was hit by Gerben Koerts. Sluitersveld FC's Richard Paas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
