Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zelder FC were furious when Hugo van Rijswijk was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Jens Kruiswijk hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Sjoerd Mols was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Co de Haan in the 14th minute of play forced Zelder FC's goalkeeper Arjen de Jong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arjen de Jong came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Akkooi's Joep Reitsma. But to his dismay, Joep Reitsma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Co de Haan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Akkooi getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Twan Koerts hit a great ball. Jan-Joost Sándor struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Vincent Mastebroek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelder FC. After 37 played minutes Akkooi got a freekick which was hit by Twan Koerts. Vincent Mastebroek made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jan-Joost Sándor sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joep Reitsma in the 45th minute of play forced Zelder FC's goalkeeper Arjen de Jong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Joost Sándor to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Joep Reitsma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Zelder FC's Arjen de Jong got control of the ball when Co de Haan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arjen de Jong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Co de Haan in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Co de Haan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akkooi's supporters rose to their feet, but Co de Haan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arjen de Jong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arjen de Jong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joep Reitsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Joep Reitsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joep Reitsma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Arjen de Jong when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Martien Ommen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Jan-Joost Sándor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Joost Sándor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Mastebroek having to interfere. Arjen de Jong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joep Reitsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play, Akkooi's Joep Reitsma made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arjen de Jong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arjen de Jong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joep Reitsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Akkooi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
