Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gerjan den Hartog took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Gerjan den Hartog came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Edens FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerjan den Hartog couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Edens FC's Denny Hemmen got control of the ball when Jan-Joost Sándor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remond Hebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jan-Joost Sándor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Remond Hebert came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Zelder FC fans jumped to their feet. If Joost Appel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joost Appel in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arjen de Jong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gerjan den Hartog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edens FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerjan den Hartog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arjen de Jong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arjen de Jong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerjan den Hartog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edens FC's Joost Appel got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelder FC's goalkeeper Arjen de Jong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arjen de Jong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerjan den Hartog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Remond Hebert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Joost Sándor made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 32ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Denny Hemmen would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Zelder FC's Arjen de Jong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joost Appel in the 35th minute of play. Gerjan den Hartog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arjen de Jong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerjan den Hartog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Remond Hebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Remond Hebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Denny Hemmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denny Hemmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Joost Sándor in the 53rd minute of play. Arjen de Jong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joost Appel in the 59th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Jens Kruiswijk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zelder FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edens FC the free kick. A collision led to Zelder FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jens Kruiswijk hit a great ball. Denny Hemmen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Joost Sándor went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Gerjan den Hartog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arjen de Jong was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Remond Hebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edens FC's Gerjan den Hartog in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Arjen de Jong guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Denny Hemmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remond Hebert in the 85th minute of play. Remond Hebert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denny Hemmen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Edens FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerjan den Hartog. Remond Hebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Hemmen having to interfere. Joost Appel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Arjen de Jong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zelder FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
