Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Blikhalm's Emile Roeters started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jos Bosma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lennart Waard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes, Blikhalm's Han Speelman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lennart Waard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blikhalm reached it. If Emile Roeters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Waard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jos Bosma, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Koen Bergmeester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sipke Eylens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Sipke Eylens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Kruit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koen Bergmeester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Eerbeek FC booed when Blikhalm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Neijsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Zandstra kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Blikhalm's Emile Roeters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lennart Waard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sipke Eylens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafael Kruit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Koen Bergmeester having to make a save. If Sipke Eylens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Blikhalm's goal looked a bit too open when Sipke Eylens came free, but Koen Bergmeester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Waard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Bosma in the 40th minute of play. Eerbeek FC's Lennart Waard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emile Roeters in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sipke Eylens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blikhalm's Jos Bosma got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sipke Eylens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Blikhalm getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ronald Gasteren hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emile Roeters in the 61st minute of play forced Eerbeek FC's goalkeeper Lennart Waard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Kruit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Koen Bergmeester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eerbeek FC's Felix Theunissen got a free kick in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Jos Bosma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Waard. Eerbeek FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jos Bosma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sipke Eylens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 minutes, Ronald Gasteren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blikhalm and the Eerbeek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Eerbeek FC booed when Blikhalm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Gasteren didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sipke Eylens in the 76th minute of play forced Blikhalm's goalkeeper Koen Bergmeester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Kruit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Kruit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Koen Bergmeester having to make a save. Koen Bergmeester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sipke Eylens in the 86th minute of play. Remond Arnolds hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Lennart Waard was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Iwan Reiling. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blikhalm's goalkeeper Koen Bergmeester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Blikhalm booed when Eerbeek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remond Arnolds didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Iwan Reiling sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eerbeek FC's Lennart Waard didn't even have to move.
