Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mike Zevenhuizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pim Kregel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Zevenhuizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folker Moorlag in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Pim Kregel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zevenhuizen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ulvenhout FC's Folker Moorlag in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loenersloot's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Loenersloot got a freekick which was hit by Robert-Jan Opdam. Bram Terpstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leon Heitinga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ulvenhout FC's zone, Bram Terpstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Heitinga came out of the goal and Bram Terpstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bram Terpstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Loenersloot's goal looked a bit too open when Folker Moorlag came free, but Mike Zevenhuizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Dolf van der Valk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mike Zevenhuizen skillfully saved the ball. Loenersloot's Mike Zevenhuizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folker Moorlag in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Victor Saelman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loenersloot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ulvenhout FC the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Loenersloot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Saelman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Loenersloot defense, Pim Kregel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Zevenhuizen. The Loenersloot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike Zevenhuizen should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Folker Moorlag stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Han Groten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Heitinga. Ulvenhout FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bram Terpstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Heitinga having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pim Kregel got free with Mike Zevenhuizen in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ben van Zwam's late challenge caught a Loenersloot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben van Zwam helped the player get up and apologised. Ben van Zwam hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ulvenhout FC's zone, Bram Terpstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Heitinga came out of the goal and Bram Terpstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Heitinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Terpstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Pim Kregel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pim Kregel came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ulvenhout FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pim Kregel couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Bram Terpstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Heitinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Folker Moorlag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
