Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Enumatil FC's Ab Thijsse started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ab Thijsse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karsten Huisman in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herman Plagge, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 23 played minutes Eexterveen got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Harmens. Eexterveen's Herman Plagge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Eexterveen from getting a goal against them. Karsten Huisman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Herman Plagge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Ronny Opdam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Huisman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Herman Plagge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eexterveen's Herman Plagge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Eexterveen from getting a goal against them. In the 39th play minute Karsten Huisman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Herman Plagge. 1-0. Eexterveen's Herman Plagge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ab Thijsse in the 44th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 46th minute when Ab Thijsse elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Ronny Opdam fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enumatil FC's protests and gave Ronny Opdam a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Eexterveen booed when Enumatil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Opdam didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Eexterveen's Lennart Reinhard tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Klaus Graaf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eexterveen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Karsten Huisman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Eexterveen defense, Ab Thijsse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herman Plagge. The Eexterveen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herman Plagge should have stopped the shot. Herman Plagge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erben Baardmam in the 71st minute of the match. Wouter de Gooijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Damstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Opdam kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Klaus Graaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Eexterveen's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Huisman came free, but Herman Plagge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaus Graaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Wouter de Gooijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
