Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Guus Lyesen made the kick off which started today's match. When Heuvel HC's Mark Melker in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schinnen HC's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Heuvel HC's goal looked a bit too open when Guus Lyesen came free, but Aad Kloppenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Schinnen HC's Guus Lyesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aad Kloppenburg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Schinnen HC's Jan Hendrik van Amersfoort got control of the ball when Roland Zandstra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Robert Zegeling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arie van der Woude in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Hendrik van Amersfoort prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robert Zegeling got in the 37th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Aad Kloppenburg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Robert Zegeling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Zegeling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aad Kloppenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Rudi Oosting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arie van der Woude stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Heuvel HC's Roland Zandstra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Hendrik van Amersfoort narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Roland Zandstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Spijker struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jan Hendrik van Amersfoort didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heuvel HC. The supporters of Heuvel HC booed when Schinnen HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerben Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guus Lyesen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Aad Kloppenburg 62 minutes into the match. Robert Zegeling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aad Kloppenburg having to interfere. Aad Kloppenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guus Lyesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Roland Zandstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roland Zandstra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Hendrik van Amersfoort having to make a save. Heuvel HC's Aad Kloppenburg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Heuvel HC from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the game, Mark Melker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heuvel HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schinnen HC the free kick. The supporters of Schinnen HC booed when Heuvel HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Melker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Schinnen HC's Jean-Paul Smibum got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Roland Zandstra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heuvel HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Jan Hendrik van Amersfoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Zandstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Arie van der Woude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Hendrik van Amersfoort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Heuvel HC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Heuvel HC's Roland Zandstra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Schinnen HC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Heuvel HC to leave the ground with a draw.
