Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fred Hateboer took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ate Willemsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eemster's supporters rose to their feet, but Ate Willemsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Dagelet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jef van Bronckhorst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Hateboer's late challenge caught a Eemster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Hateboer helped the player get up and apologised. Fred Hateboer hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Ate Willemsen made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rijswijk's Emil Dagelet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Rijswijk's goal looked a bit too open when Ate Willemsen came free, but Emil Dagelet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk Hilberts's late challenge caught a Rijswijk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk Hilberts helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Eemster getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Henk Hilberts hit a great ball. Fred Hateboer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bob Schild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Dagelet having to interfere. Ate Willemsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Emil Dagelet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Rijswijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remond Wotte to maneuver through the defense. Emil Dagelet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ate Willemsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Kip stood somewhat misplaced when Fred Hateboer came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 31 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fred Hateboer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Peter Kip. That made the score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Rijswijk's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Schild came free, but Emil Dagelet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rijswijk's Emil Dagelet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ate Willemsen in the 42nd minute of play. Ate Willemsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Emil Dagelet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bob Schild might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Dagelet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bob Schild ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ate Willemsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Eemster got a corner. Rijswijk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernest Valentijn ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ernest Valentijn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Dagelet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bob Schild blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Dagelet having to make a save. In the 58th minute, Bob Schild got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jef van Bronckhorst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Peter Kip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fred Hateboer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Ate Willemsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bob Schild was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 3-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Fred Hateboer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Henk Hilberts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Emil Dagelet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jef van Bronckhorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ate Willemsen in the 92nd minute of play forced Rijswijk's goalkeeper Emil Dagelet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Bob Schild fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emil Dagelet, passed just outside the right post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rijswijk were victorious despite being under pressure from Eemster for much of the match.
