Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marcus Zegerss short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Bart Bijlsma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 5th minute, Reinhard Middel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Lutten HC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin de Zee came free, but Yuri Damen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Flushing HC's goal looked a bit too open when Guus Pik came free, but Bart Bijlsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Lutten HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Cornelisse to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Roelofs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bart Bijlsma came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Lutten HC's Guus Pik. But to his dismay, Guus Pik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Flushing HC's Dennis Roelofs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Damen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yuri Damen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin de Zee, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Flushing HC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcus Zegers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfred van der Werff during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Flushing HC got a freekick which was hit by Daan Davids. Henk Robbermond, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Lutten HC's Marcus Zegers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bart Bijlsma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Marcus Zegers came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Lutten HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Zegers couldn't finish the play. Dennis Roelofs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Damen having to interfere. Lutten HC's Bob Cornelisse got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Bob Cornelisse off the ground. In the 32nd match minute, Lutten HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Cornelisse to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Damen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin de Zee in the 34th minute of the match. Benjamin de Zee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Yuri Damen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Roelofs was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Yuri Damen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 54 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Flushing HC's Benjamin de Zee fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Roelofs in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Damen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yuri Geers was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lutten HC's zone, Benjamin de Zee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Damen came out of the goal and Benjamin de Zee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Zegers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Bijlsma having to interfere. If Marcus Zegers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Zegers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Dennis Roelofs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Damen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lutten HC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
