Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dennis Roelofs got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robbie Everts in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bart Bijlsma saved Flushing HC from getting behind. Benjamin de Zee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Bos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Dennis Roelofs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Flushing HC's Dennis Roelofs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Bos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Dennis Roelofs fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Dennis Roelofs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flushing HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Roelofs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Bos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfried Medgyesi lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 18th minute, one of Boerakker:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boerakker. After 25 played minutes Boerakker got a freekick which was hit by Billy van Olst. Boerakker's Robbie Everts got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Billy van Olst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flushing HC's Bart Bijlsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Everts in the 39th minute of play. Eelco Opdam hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Dennis Roelofs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbie Everts to make the kick off. Daan Davids's late challenge caught a Boerakker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daan Davids helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Flushing HC's Daan Davids got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Boerakker's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Roelofs came free, but Henry Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Boerakker booed when Flushing HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daan Davids didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Geers hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Flushing HC's Bart Bijlsma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Flushing HC from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Boerakker's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin de Zee came free, but Henry Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Boerakker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eelco Opdam to maneuver through the defense. Henry Bos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin de Zee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin de Zee in the 74th minute of play. Benjamin de Zee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Flushing HC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Flushing HC's Dennis Roelofs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Robbie Everts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Benjamin de Zee left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flushing HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Henry Bos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Roelofs, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boerakker players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flushing HC.
