Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Priesterink's zone, Emiel Dalmeijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diderik van Rhijn came out of the goal and Emiel Dalmeijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Bart Enzing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lex Walregt got free with Stephan Moermans in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Priesterink's Rogier Sanders got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Marick Sloedingen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Priesterink's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noord the free kick. After 14 played minutes Priesterink got a freekick which was hit by Marick Sloedingen. Florian Sandstra, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Diderik van Rhijn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiel Dalmeijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Heerspink in the 22nd minute of play forced Priesterink's goalkeeper Diderik van Rhijn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Kuis charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Kuis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Priesterink booed when Noord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Kuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Noord getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bennie Hooiveld hit a great ball. Cor van Dalfsen's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Stephan Moermans - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Priesterink's Lex Walregt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephan Moermans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 37 played minutes Priesterink got a freekick which was hit by Rogier Sanders. Marc Heerspink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Diderik van Rhijn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiel Dalmeijer in the 46th minute of play forced Priesterink's goalkeeper Diderik van Rhijn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johannes van Bronckhorst was the one to do the kick off. Stephan Moermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes van Bronckhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Johannes van Bronckhorst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Noord got a freekick which was hit by Bart Enzing. Priesterink's Lex Walregt got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stephan Moermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes van Bronckhorst in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Johannes van Bronckhorst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Priesterink fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes van Bronckhorst in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stephan Moermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 played minutes Priesterink got a freekick which was hit by Ricky van der Wiel. The supporters of Noord booed when Priesterink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky van der Wiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Lex Walregt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Moermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Bart Enzing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Priesterink's Cor van Dalfsen tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stephan Moermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes van Bronckhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Lex Walregt made a precise shot to the right of Stephan Moermans. Noord's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Noord players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Priesterink.
