Buggenem FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bronneger the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joep Eggens in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Schrage saved Buggenem FC from getting behind. Mark Schrage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joep Eggens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joep Eggens got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mark Schrage handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Joep Eggens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mark Schrage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Bronneger's Joep Eggens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mark Schrage. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. Kurt Folkers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Folkers to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bronneger's Job Oude Kamphuis got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Kurt Folkers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Meindert Hulscher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buggenem FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meindert Hulscher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timmie Lans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Folkers's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Harold Blind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bronneger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buggenem FC the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Meindert Hulscher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kurt Folkers struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Timmie Lans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buggenem FC. 84 minutes into the match, Meindert Hulscher notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bronneger's Timmie Lans. Timmie Lans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Harold Blind hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Bronneger's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
