Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emiel Sybering started the match with the kick off. Emiel Sybering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henk Korf came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Bronneger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henk Korf couldn't finish the play. When Mark Bleiswijk fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruimel's protests and gave Mark Bleiswijk a yellow card for diving instead. Mark Bleiswijk kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Joep Eggens came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Bronneger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joep Eggens couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiel Sybering in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timmie Lans saved Bronneger from getting behind. Jordi Veenema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joep Eggens in the 17th minute of play. Joep Eggens took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordi Veenema. Jordi Veenema dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Damien Heida fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruimel's protests and gave Damien Heida a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Ruimel got a freekick which was hit by Damien Heida. In the 27th match minute, Bronneger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrie Smits to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th match minute, Ruimel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joeri Hoiting to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ruimel getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jonathan Collins hit a great ball. Gerrie Smits hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Ruimel's Timmie Lans threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emiel Sybering, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pieter Veenker's late challenge caught a Ruimel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pieter Veenker helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bronneger's Pieter Veenker got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Ruimel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bronneger were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Joep Eggens made the kick off in the second half. Timmie Lans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiel Sybering's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Karsten van der Werff who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Jordi Veenema when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ruimel's Joeri Hoiting got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timmie Lans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joeri Hoiting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruimel's goalkeeper Jordi Veenema, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jim Rijkaard charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Rijkaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timmie Lans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Hoiting, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 79th match minute, Bronneger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Korf to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiel Sybering in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timmie Lans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joeri Hoiting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmie Lans having to interfere. Timmie Lans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Hoiting, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Joeri Hoiting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Jan Rein Daelemans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruimel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bronneger the free kick. Jan Rein Daelemans kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Ruimel supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bronneger's performance. The match ended with a win for Bronneger.
